separated the combatants at game's end. The Columbus Crowd won by the
slimmest of margins, 4 to 3.
Columbus started with a bang, jumping out to an early lead in their half of
the first plating an isolated run using 2 hits. Rickie Weeks providing the
offense himself as he belted a solo home run (his 6th of the season). Rich
Aurilia came next and he doubled. Joaquin Arias struck out, unable to help
the rally. Neither team managed to score after the 4th inning.
Chad Billingsley(15-8) went 6 innings allowing 3 runs for the win. Billingsley
got help from Chad Qualls who was credited with his 8th save. Clayton
Richard(0-2) took the loss.
